AFP Northeastern PA – Effective and Ethical Fundraising in the Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and Hazleton Area

We are pleased to announce that the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Central Susquehanna Community Foundation (CSCF) have partnered to present a the Central Susquehanna Fundraising Academy at the CSCF offices at 725 West Front Street in Berwick on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

AFP represents more than 30,000 members in 225 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education and certification programs.  The association fosters development and growth of fundraising professionals and promotes high ethical standards in the fundraising profession.

Cost to attend is $35 per person ($25 for AFP Members) and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.  The CSCF has a limited number of scholarships available as well.
