About Jonathan
Dr. Jonathan H. Spinner has been involved in the not-for-profit world for 50 years in executive and fundraising positions with both small agencies and national and international organizations.
He has managed capital and endowment campaigns from the micro to the monster in the United States and Canada, and has personally raised millions of dollars in face-to-face solicitations.
As a consultant, he provides development services to clients
· from grant writing to major gift and endowment operations;
· conducts unique training programs for campaign solicitors;
· strategic analyses with boards of directors in a wide variety of agencies;
· and leads discussions with professionals in diverse areas of fundraising and not-for-profit operations.
Jonathan was a board member of Connecticut Association of Fundraising Professionals and a member of the Planned Giving Group of CT. He chaired the 2008 Connecticut Philanthropy Day Conference.
Dr. Spinner received his PhD in English Literature from Michigan State University and is a graduate of City College of New York.
